Nele Brökelmann is an artist who connects her research into cognition, the origins of religions and theatre to the developmental dynamics of organisms. She aims to fathom the subsisting structures of meaning inherent to cultures. This is channeled into texts, scripted videos and encounters, creating potentialities to think and enact our way of living together otherwise
Nele holds a BFA from the St. Joost Academy in Breda (NL) and a MMus from the ArtScience Interfaculty, KABK in the Hague (NL). She co-initiated the residency program In het midden, is publishing at the online magazine Witte Rook, and curates the filmprogram Matters of Being at artists initiative iii in the Hague.
